hi i have a 400ex with 11:1 comp and stage 1 can the carb is set stock slow jet a 155 main 3 notch with dmc afterburner full system an the header started to glow so i shut the bike of.

dmc recomends the bike to run rich and im gonna say im to lean but this did not happen with the stock pipe. dmc recomends a 42 jet and a 150 but i have a 155 they also recomend 4 notch from the top to richin it up.

what should i do ??
an this is happening on long island in ny

id suggest getting a 42 pilot and a 160 and see how that does. go 2.5 turns out on the f/a screw and leave the needle on the 3rd notch.

or at least a 160 and 3.5 turns out on the f/a screw.

the glowing header if idling is a sign of a lean pilot most of the time.

i have it set no with a 42 jet and 155 with 4 notch from the top an it is perfect. lol now im looking to change my rear shock any ideas because i want to change the rear link to a gt thunder xc link. ???????????????????/

you can get the link and use the stock shock. if im not mistaken, it is made for the stock shock.
