2008 drr 50 no spark

I took this quad apart to guesstet and paint frame and for some reason I am not getting no spark. I swap everything off a running bike like stator coil harness cdi head light push start switch. This bike is comepletely stock electricial wise. I took the kill switch completetly off so that rules that out. When I put a test light on the wire that comes from the harness to the coil nothing. I put the stator on another bike and it works. So I am stump I go over the harness making sure everything is plug in and swap everything I mean every thing even add grounds any ideas?????

DID YOU SAND YOUR FRAME WERE THE GROUND WIRE CONNECTS THE FRAME .SINCE YOU JUST PAINTED IT MAY NOT BE GETTING GOOD GROUND.. CHECK YOUR COIL WIRE MAKE SHORE ITS TIGHT.. SOME TIMES I CUT LIKE A 1/4 INCH OFF EACH END AND SCREW THEM BACK ON

Yea all grounds are good what I don't understand is why the harness wire doesn't sent power to the coil when the electric start is ingaged
