Anyone kno where i can find the strap that goes over the gas tank. Connects the 2 sides of the front plastics together.. I could also use a quadtech hood..
Thanks!

OEM plastics? FB, or Maier?

If they are aftermarket, a simple velcro strap that is long enough will work. That's what FB uses... I'm not sure how to obtain an OEM one. The OEM fenders typcially hug the tank pretty tight.

I just picked some up the other day from ACE hardware. But I have gone to a fabric store in the past.

If you need the stock style rubber one it can be cut out of an old tire tube.

What would you do for the hooks?

If you are saying the posts in the stock plastic that the rubber strap stretchs over are broken off then the velcro strap is your next option. Use a drill bit to make a slot in the plastic for the strap.

The posts are there. Just need the rubber strap. I mean, its not horrble. But the plastics would deff fit better and be tighter

The stock rubber piece doesn't have hooks. It has holes in it that stretch over the tabs on the plactic, thats the only thing that keeps it in place.
