Chain issues...help

I went down a tooth on the front sprocket of my quad and obviously the chain is too loose now...even with the carrier adjusted to the tightest setting. So, I removed a link and now it's too tight..and yes I loosened the carrier to the loosest setting. What can I do to correct the problem? Do I take the quad out and ride it and jump some small jumps and hope it stretches, or will I mess something up? I would appreciate any advice :ermm:

don't ride it like that, you will destory your axle bearings real quick. Go buy you a 1/2 link or a new chain. If you cain't find a 520 1/2 then a # 60 (standard) will work.
