Sound out if you use a steering dampener, and list it's benefits and drawbacks. list what brand you are using.

Who uses a Damper ??? anyone who is serious about improving the handling characteristics of their quad.
It is one of the first mods I recommend for a quad, especially if you ride in the woods and rough terrain.
They soak up alot of hits so you won't have to .....

I havea dampner and what a didfference it has made in the woods riding. Any rough terrain you can really tell a difference. Little to no ARM PUMP anymore. I have a Mussle brand made by speed racing products. It is rebuildable. Very cooling looking. All billet aluminum with seven adjustments. I dont remember what i paid but it was about the same as the denton in price if i remember right. Bought it through C&D Highly recomend a dampner.

If you have remote rezzies it may be tough to get all mounted up. I have been trying to figure that out too. I am in the market for some shocks now. Also ive looking at that oil cooler from fourstroke tech. The screen may get in the wa. That should be able to be cut or notched.

I think you may be able to get a dampner in there. Mine mounts right around where your bottom clamp for your rezzie is. Yout rezzie looks like it could go up some. My bracket is a about 1 1/2" tall. It can also be lowered to just above where that angled section of the frame brace comes in. No dout it will take a while to get to fit with the right angle and not bind at all when turning. My buddy has some TCS shocks with rezzies and he is running a denton dampner. He said ittook a while but he has in and working. Worth a try.

That was the only way that worked really good for me, but I am interested to see how the Scoops will fit when I get some...

i know what a damper is, but does the adjuster mount on the bars, cuz i see some that have these dial lookin things on the handle bars

The adjustments are made on a rod that comes out the end of the dampner (Small rod with seven clicks) from light pressure to harder pressure. The ones you are talking about mount on top of the bars and are of a different type. Not sure how those work. I know they are allot more expensive. 300.00 + These are 130.00-160.00

Has to be the biggest improvement that you can buy next to shocks IMO. I love mine, I have a PEP and it is like Day light and dark with it on there.

Look in dirt wheels March issue they are testing the new W.E.R damper. looks like it would solve your mounting problems but it also will empty your savings account.

QuadMX do you have the Tinner scoops? If you do that sucks because I tried putting them where Rico has his and the lines just won't bend that way.
