I'm not trying to be rude about this but are the new 310 or 330 kits pretty good? i mean they pretty much give them away in my mind and there super cheap, not saying they couldn't be really powerful but if they were were really amazing i would thought the price would be a little higher... thoughts?

They are good. Just maintain the powervalve if you get one with it. You might move this out of the classified and into the regular trx250r info section.

they work really well, they are pretty raw though. the port timing is built into the cylinder, with some good porting they could definitely rip. I've got the non pv and have ridden the pv 310, not enough difference to me to justify the pv.

I have a ESR non power valve 310 with good porting and being too rich it flat out flys, feels like it would beat my banshee. I would love way more bottom end though

I have a 310 non pv only thing I dont like is they sent me aluminum instead of the copper washers . Mines stroked and ported by me . I had some 20 in sand stars on and beating craptors with mods on a wheelie . I have a play porting esr pipe .

if you can find a good pro x cylinder its better than the esr's, the new esr's are having lots of problems sticking pistons due to the cheap material they are using to produce them and there power valves are garbage IMO. you may get lucky and get a good cylinder but i have personally see 3 stick and one only had 2hrs on it.

I rode the crap out of one in March at the dunes with no problems and there will be one going on the build that I am putting together right now. Reading some post that have been made in forums it seems they have made some clearance changes and they are also cast in the US and not overseas like some people are posting in some forums. They continue to put a lot into the 250R and I am sure that they are always working to improve on any problems that may have been found with long term testing of thier cyl.

I've already had a blown head gasket where it shot coolant in my face . Another time where I was going to report my cylinder and noticed the compression oring was leaking . Due to head studs backing out . Still on the same piston and rings . I ride the dog p*ss out of her all the time . She still starts first crank .

I got a 330 but it was built in 02 I believe non pv and it rips,
Only thing in a drag race that was close was a cannondale outlander with a 1200 cc motor that was a factory race bike with their ecu etc then they built the motor, mine was still woods geared, if we wouldve kept going he would have caught up, but if i wouldve had my higher gearing installed it would have been a real good race but we kept running ou of room,
he still never caught up but to the rear tires and i was running a crappy fmf pipe,

but ive been wanting to switch to a pc2000 pv also

id checkout led, but i heard their cylinders come from esr but i dont know for sure but led make a sweet 300pv
