I have some play where the mount to the a-arm.I had em for about 6-8 months.There was play from the start,like the hole in the shock was smaller than the bolt that goes tru em.Are they supposed to be that way? There seems to be more play now though.i know they have a plastic bushing in there.Is there a metal one i can get to replace it?
I also have some play in the wheel.I replace the bearing in the hub but its still there.Not much but its not tight.Any idea how to fix this?

Your bushings are shot Bro. It is a common problem. Replace them with polyurethane bushings; you can get them from Helms Enterprises in Pa. They have a small add in the back of dirt wheels. Look there for the phone number.

I take it your talking about the shock bushing right?

My one wheel has play too. if your beside the quad and u push in on the top of the wheel it moves and u can hear somethin hit. But only one side does it. Is that how yours is?

Yes , I am talking about the lower shock bushing. Stand in front of the quad and pick up on the bumper and watch the lower shock mount you should be able to see the movement.:eek2:

I can see it in the shock.And im sure i need the bushings.But i also have it on one wheel,That i already replace the bearing in. Could it be the ball joint?I dont want to buy new arms and it still be there.

You are going to have to chase it down. Take the weight off the front end and start searching.

I found it today! My aarm bushings are shot.Is it true they are around $60?

I saw that last night.thanks man. I m going to buy a used set and maybe put them in.Im going to get the shock ones also.My arms are trashed.One bent the other has had the shock mount welded back on.
