I just cleaned my carb, and now I have popping through my exhaust, when I let off from full throttle. like it's running lean.It didn't do this before,Before I cleaned it.That's why I needed to know what way to turn it. where I can try to stop it from popping.Thank's for the help.

most likely not your problem. Move the needle up a couple slots and see if that helps.

When you say move the needle up,meaning down with the c-clip right? But why?If it didn't do it before, then there is somthing I done wrong.I just need to check over my work.
Thank's for the help.

yes down with the clip.

YOu most likely cleaned a port that is allowing more air into the system.

well,I moved the clip down one, in the fourth slot.It seemed to stop the popping a little. But now it run's like crap from 1/4 to 1/2 throttle sputtering bad. But when I open it up full throttle this thing will haul!

Most of the time the needle never needs to be adjusted. It's such a fine adjustment that it makes little impact. Put the needle back to the stock position, and put the screw all the way in. Then, start it up and try to squeeze a screw driver in there and do half turns out until it runs smooth. Do you have a stock pilot (slow) jet, or one size up? The pilot can cause the pop sometimes.

No, It's not stock. What I have is a 250x/350x Hybrid. And I'm running a 400ex carb.and the jet's are 42 slow/50 main.As of now,the needle is back in the stock position in the middle. It still popping through the exhaust when I ride. All I do for now is just clutch it when slowing down (it stop's the popping).
