trx 450 r swingarm nut

ok i have to tighten my sons swingarm nut every2 races ,is there somthing wrong or am i missing something

what your missing is the electrical tape wrapped around the nut. IT WORKS. don't waste money on an anti-fade. ive taped the nut on my 450, 440ex, and my 300ex. not once have they ever come loose.
They stay tight enough that i have to use penetrating fluid and a hammer to loosen them up.
I race flat track too.

no not yhe axle nut im talkin about the swing arm bolt , sorry if i did not explain right ,, and yes we do tape the axle nut and it works great thanks

Oh my bad. and you mean like the pivot bolt??

if the nut is old you probaly need a new one because the locks that are in the nut are old. ive also heard that you can turn the bolt around and it helps. ive had this problem when i raced my 300ex. it wallowed out my frame and riped through. loctite can help too. hope that helps.
