I was surfin around on here and i saw that someone said they had a "roost boost" for their 250x. what are they?

it gives you more spark. Personally i dont think they do much.

yea i think they were real big awhile ago but they dont do much and not many people run them

I had one on my 250r, It's supposed to give a better/hotter spark. I couldn't notice a difference in my opinion.

From reading these posts i'd say so. Most of the rev boxes on the market are not worth it. The just make it more difficult to start and how often to you take you machine to thos kinda RPM's anyways. I have never hit the rev limiter on my machine yet.

yep i think it is a waste of money i used to have one on mine but i took it off never helped me out any.

I can believe it with a 416. But it depends on how hard you like to push you machine too. I dont like to wind out my rpms, like like to use the midrange power.:macho
