Ive heard of a few people removing the choke on there 4hundereds whats the purpouse of this and is it worth it? Im kind of interested since I hardly ever use mine anyway.

Yes, removing the choke along w/ rejetting will help power. The choke impedes the flow of air even when it is flipped up not in use. If you take the carb off and look inside you can see what i mean. Just remove the two small screws on it and the plate will fall out. You may need to run a bigger pilot jet to compensate.

On paper, removing the choke will add power.
There is a little choke plate in the carb, even when choke is not on, the plate takes up room...
If you take the choke more air will plow into the carb.
The plate is only so big, it will add power,
i doubt you can feel it.
