EXriders?

I was wondering what the ex part meant. Does it mean like 400ex? or people who used to ride? What was the intent? Just curious.

Yes when this site first started many moons ago it was primarily for 300EX and 400EX riders, along with the 250R of course. Im not sure what made the transition take place but i remember when it happened when i had my old screen name

used to be a honda only place aka exriders. Then turned into atv riders cause this place rules and every one comes here now no matter what quad. But place did slow down. Years ago there would be at least 20 ppl in the open forum at once. Now its like 3 max at a time. :ermm: Been using this site 6 or 7 years now. Taught me most of what I know.

Exriders.com or atvrider.com brings you to same place. I remember 4-5 years back I would be on here 24/7 parting quads and I was in high school. exriders was blocked but not atvriders lol.

Yep, it was primarily a site for Honda quads. It was a really weird/simple layout, but I guess most forums were back then.

You can go to a website and see what the site looked like years ago... I forget what the name of the site is though :(

IMO the peak of the atv forums was when Z400central and YFZcentral came out... All of the forums were on fire every day. Tons of new topics and new parts coming out everywhere. Was really cool and there would always be tons of new build threads and stuff. I remember coming home from school and there would always be loads of new stuff to read. Anyone who was into riding 6 or so years ago and was on the forums will probably know what I'm talking about. At least this site is still pretty active.. I still try to log on daily :cool:

When i got my first 400EX i spent every night of my summer break on that page drooling. Dreaming of aftermarket shocks and exhaust. Then when i was able to afford that stuff i quickly realized it was a very expensive hobby lol

I spent time on both forums for a while, and it just seemed like Bluetraxx was always saying they were better, trying to prove they were better, putting down exriders for this reason and that.

We, on the other hand, just ignored it. Exriders didn't have to prove anything.

yeah this place was pretty active when i joined. my schools never blocked it for some reason.. not complaining though, it got me through a lot of classes:devil:

I am really suprised nobody has mentoined ********. That was started by exriders members and has probabley close to as many active members.
