dual gasser on an ltr anyone have it?

dual gasser throttle on an ltr anyone done it? have one for sale ? does it bolt right on or do I need a new cable? help solve this befor emy next ride! please

i have a dual gasser i will sell, it is red and been rode on for one day, i bought it for the 250r because it had the wrong throttle housing on it when i bought it and the stock cables wouldnt work on the bike and i had no idea on which cable to buy, to me the thumb leverage felt aqward to wut im used to, it will not bolt directly up to the ltr, it requires a screw in type cable, im not sure wut is needed, but i will sale it for 75, it is pretty much brand new.

oh and its red and i paid double for that but it has been sitting for a yr, still looks new tho

Purchased ,received and installed. I used the factory throttle cable but cut the factory adjuster off and installed an adjuster from a bicycle.I had to reroute the cable at the very front and notch the tank cover. Very easy mod. First woods ride next sunday!

All went well I didn't use the thumb throttle all day!!

what exactly is a dual gasser? i never heard of such a thing.... can you post pics? and post pics of what you had to mod to make it work...

It is a thumb and twist throttle in one. You can use either one and can lock out the twist if you like.

To each his/her own....I will never understand why anyone would want a twist throttle on a quad...great for bikes, sucks for quads.

yea i put one on a 240 race blaster i built a few years back... not a good idea. i hate them on bikes too actually i put a 400ex throttle on all my bikes i had. easy to make work on anything.
