oil change?

howw do you change the oil on an 05 yfz i know it has the oil tank with a drain pug at the bottom and the drain pug uner the shifter ......how do you check oil level in the case??

check it by the dipstick in oil tank. you have to start it up first to circulate the oil or it will show low because oil will seap back in the engine case after it sits a while.
