lookin at craigslist an found a ol warrior that the says he bought as a basketcase. he says i needs a starter an some carb work. bike dont look to be in too bad shape. i figured if the motor is jnk then i can still have a good base for a yz swap right? i culd proly get it for 200 or 250

i never said 450. but that would be cool lol i think im gunna get it. itll be on the back burner for a little while but ill post pics when i start tearin into it

actually its amazing how well a yz426 motor works in these quads

yea i was gonna say i think he meant a yz426 motor as ive seen this conversion several times

if you can get it cheap and get the yz426 cheap, then do it. Anything to reduce the weight will help those things. In the end.......they still handle like a brick, so you aren't gonna get the most out of the motor.
