tusk topend gasket kit

I recently rebuilt the topend on my 400ex, went from stock to a JE 416 10.8:1 compression ratio with a hotcams stage 1 cam. I'd have to say for the money its probably the most complete kit you can get. it comes with valve seals and all the o-rings and stuff for the rocker arm cover, a MLS head gasket and metal valve cover gasket that can be used time after time. I'd deffinatly recommend this gasket kit for anybody looking to save a couple bucks on their rebuild and still get a top quality product.

I second that, the quality of the Tusk gaskets were terrible. My head gasket leaked after the first half hour after my rebuild. The valve cover gasket was junk as well. It sealed but is by no means re-useable like the stock gasket. For anyone needing gaskets, please either get Cometic or go with stock.

Well, I can't vouch for any of the top-end gaskets that Cometic makes, but the clutch cover gaskets are junk. The one I got wasn't the right shape and the holes weren't even in the right spots, and neither were the holes for the oil bypass valleys(or whatever you call them). It sealed, but if the gasket isn't the right shape that really doesn't matter. I'm kinda hesitant of buying from them again.

I only run cometic MLS type gaskets, never ever had an issue.

Cometic is without a doubt the best brand money can buy,stock gaskets them selves are nice

Cometic. the only gasket to run. had a oem lower gasket where the jug and cyclinder meet. leaked in about 30 hours of ride time. cometic they build them for u and they offer different kinds.
