keep gowing up with the grit try to get up to about 1000 grit before the rouge is used that should help. oh and make sure your drill is high speed when you polish your final coat:devil

the line you see are from the 150 grit, too coarse for that. should of started with like a 220. Another tip, don't go in circles, sand and polish in one direction.

Wow man. you didn't need to to drop way down to 150.

I tend to strip then start at 400 unless there are large inperfections. Then I work my way up to 1000 then 1500 wet. I did 2000 wet on a set before and they were sweet but it is just overhaul goign that high....

I think 2000 is to much also.Yes the reason i did 150 i ran out of 250.

Now your arms going to be too tired to spank your monkey tonight.LOL
220 min. usally start with 400 and go up to atleast 1000.The higher you go the less buffing you need.

I like how the cases shine themselves from your pants/boots rubbing on them.... I love how sweet they look when they are all shiney but I cant keep up with that kinda work.

I don't know why people go and use sandpaper on aluminum when they are trying to polish something, get the stuff sandblasted and then start polishing, sanding is for paint and wood, you might as well be taking the paint off with a grinder.
