whats the difference between 06 cam and 08 cam? will the 06 work in the 08?

the profiles are the same, the 08ER uses a different decomp mechanism though. The 06 cam will work in the 08 if the 08 is a kicker bike. If the 08 is a ER, it needs a 08 ER specific cam, or all the decomp pieces from a kicker or older ER

so if i take the cam, cradle,decompression arm and all from the 06 it will bolt up? the 08 does not look the same. it is a kick start

if the 08 is a kick start it should have the same decomp mechanism that the 06 has, unless your 08 was originally an ER and someone made it a kicker
