Ok ive got a 2008 400ex and i have a Curtis Sparks X-6 Exhaust, K&N Filter with Outerwears with the lid on

i have Jets R Us 40, 42 and 45 Pilot Jets, DynoJet Stage 1 & 2 Kit

Does this sound right for wat i have
Main Jet=DJ146, Pilot Jet=42, C-Clip on the 3rd Notch of the needle, F/A Screw Screwed out 2.5 Turns?

DJ146 Main Jet is EQUAL to a Keihin 160 Main Jet

Please tell if this is right or give me a recommendation of what i should do

Thanks,
Blake

Please THROW AWAY the DJs and buy some keihins, you will never get it to run right with the DJs. Ive been there and done that, I could never get it to run well-switched to keihins and all has been well for ages.

I have no idea also what corresponding number it would be as although the conversion charts you can find are helpful the sizes arent exact.

Everything else seems good, use the 42 pilot 2.5 turns, needle 3rd notch from the flat end (top).

Im not trying to be mean about the DJ, they just dont work well with the keihin carbs.

See here for pictures of how to jet. (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?threadid=463320)

Nearly exactly the same inside bud. You got the main, the pilot and the air/fuel. Main is a 6mm hex, pilot can be off with a screwdriver-same as the air/fuel.

Remove the c-clip by using some needlenose pliers. be DAMN careful not to drop it, btdt and i couldnt find it on my cement floor.

Way it goes in is way it came out. Remove the slide lever (or whatever the technical name for it is). The part with the 2 screws that goes into the slide, put needle in, put slide lever back on and screw it on. A magnetic screwdriver is a godsend as the screws are TINY and a pain to get in there otherwise.
