Not many people run the Malossi ignition so finding help will be a lil hard. Most people run the Stage6 pvl..........

could have bought either one
but here about more failures with the s6 version?!

This is true. Most of the time it's because people have bad or not enough grounds. The advantage to the Stage6 is that IF it goes bad, someone at the track may be able to let you barrow a part to get you through the event. With something else you'll have to be more self sufficient.

We run the Malossi on one of our bikes (S6 on the other)
One suggestion is to cut-off and re-do the connectors to the coil. They're not very good, solid connections. I did mine with heat shrink, water resistant connectors. The factory connectors didnt seem like they made a very solid connection.
Also, we run the BR10 spark plugs. We were running the BR8 (I think...maybe it was the BR9, I cant remember) until we had one completely blow up inside the head.
Oh, and this is on our DRR 50....not sure what you're running.

We run a Malossi ignition and really like the response. I just installed it and things went very smooth. Let me know if you have any questions

Great Ignition, make sure to run the colder 10 plus range plug.
With the stator coils being incased I think reliability goes way up over the long run. If you need bottom power carefully advance it.
I generally run the stock setting.

Where can you get one of these ignitons?

My kid is on a 90 and I have slowly been getting it dialed in for him. Race season will start soon, so the more power and reliability the better, LOL

Had the malossi pvl it failed after 4 months use, doesn't run well till you advance it, hope you have better luck. I replaced it with Stage 6 and gained 400 rpms , been running flawless for over 2 years.
