Where can I find them new that has very fast shipping? The 400ex line on the carb won't allow enough gas in.

I have the stock fuel line on my 450 carb and it works just fine. Check down inside the fuel line nipple on the carb. There should be a screen in there and it may need cleaning.
This is the stock 400 carb but the 450 has the same screen.

Wait, you have a stock 450r line or a stock 400ex fuel line? And how hard is it to get to the screen?

I’m using the stock 400 fuel line on the 450 carb. You have to heat up the end that goes on the carb side and stretch it over the 450 nipple. It’s a tight fit but it will work.
As for the screen it’s down inside the nipple, just use something small to fish it out.
I used a pin cap, in the photo to fish it out of the hole.

You’d be surprised at how many experienced riders/mechanics miss this. Most people only think about the screen in the tank and don’t know there is one in the carb.
Be carful not to poke a hole in it when you fish it out, there expensive, about $12.00 for that little sucker.

Alright I'll tell him about this. What would I clean it with and would this be the problem of it bogging down and shutting off?

Don’t know if that’s your problem but it’s worth checking out, since you said it was not getting enough gas.

Alright, we took the hose off but I didn't have a screen, it musta not came with one but a guy at a shop said it didn't matter a whole lot since I have one in the tank. Anyways, we got it! All it was, was the 400ex line was too long andit had a kink in it so we cut a half inch off and put it back together and it runs good now. Now all I have to do is break the engine in for a few hours due to the new parts. Thanks for all the help though! If you never told me about that screen(which I don't have anyway), we wouldn't of did what we did.

Ok glad to here you got it going. I’d go ahead and put that screen on your parts list. It never hurts to have two screens in there. Just extra security incase something gets past the first one.

Yep I did put it on there but thanks again! I'll out pics of it on here when I get my tusk nerfs, heel guards, foot peg, and my air scoops Friday.
