need help with K&N filter

Hey guys I need some info, currently I am running K&N filters on my 34mm carbs (pod style) , the problem is they are melting to my pipes. What should I do? do they make skinnier K&N's. Mine are short and fat I got them from Vito's. Any help would be awesome.

I've never ran twin filters so I don't know if there is another filter to run but did you try and wrap that section of the pipe with a header wrap? Worth a shot cuz the wrap is cheaper than filters.
