little help

I just got home from a 3 day quad trip. On the 3rd day my quad started to stumble and smoke (black) plug was also real black. I did do a leak down check, leaking 0%. I know it sounds like its running rich. edelbrock Carb... my plan is to pull the Carb and clean it if that don't work ill check timing, but I had it at tdc for the leak down check. Any other ideas?

def check the carb and make sure nothing came loose first, then do the valves as you suggested. a compression test would also give a bit of info on rings and such.

I want to add it wont idle and the stumbling is so bad you can't ride it.

Clean the carb before you do anything else. It sounds like its got some dirt in there.
