300ex rod in a 250x????

alright i have a 1988 250x and was wondering what would it make my motor (cc) wise if i put in a 300ex rod and bored it 80 over???

putting a 300ex rod in will probly make you lose cc's because the 300 has a longer throw on the crank and the rod would be shorter.
if you are able to put the whole crank and rod thats when it would help create more cc's. (I'm not sure if it is possible though)

I think the EX crank in the X might work. But what I do know is that the main bearings between EX and X are totaly different sizes. Other then that I think it should work I mean stroker cranks for both engines are the same part numbers.
