XC motor build??

iam wanting to tear down my motor after next couple races and put higher compression piston in and a cam. what kind of ratio and cam size and brand i oda go with to be a good combo?? quad is an 08.

if you want to run race fuel, i would go with a 13.5 cp piston and a stage 2 hotcam. if your gonna stick with pump fuel, a 12.5 venom or cp piston.

I run a 13:5:1 piston with a crf450r base gasket topped off with a HRC cam. My other quad runs the exact setup with the exception it runs a HC stage 2 cam. Both of them run like a raped ape.

As for the pistons....... I run Wiseco and JE.

I would do a Je or CP Piston and a stg2 hotcam. I would also have the valves checked while your in there.
