At the last race, we started having trouble about 2 laps into the last moto. I have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out what could be wrong. It was popping and cracking at higher RPMs. I am not sure how many RPMs but it was pretty high up. You can actually hold it wide open and it never winds out enough where you think you HAVE to change gears. I noticed that there is a crack in the CDI box. I don't have any experience with these things. Is it possible that this crack is an indication of a problem? If I need to replace it, what are the advantages to one of the aftermarket ones? Any help is greatly appreciated.
