i hope no one on this forum uses a user name of mully717 on ebay. because you just shafted me on some laeger a arms i purchased. bent upper left arm, both tie rods were bent....all bushings were supposed to be good, but one was missing the tube insert. no bolts came with them... i would have thought he would of at least sent the bolts since the stock ones dont fit. but thats a long shot.. weird how he has 100 percent feed back..

Depends on how it was listed, if it was listed in good shape used then I think you got a case.

Order I would do this:
1. Contact seller, ask them for refund (even if they stated no refunds).
2. They say no contact ebay and paypal, if you paid with a credit card thru paypal call the company and stop payment immediately.

if the listing said they were ok, any they were bent that is mis-representation.... contact the seller and tell him they are junk and you want to return them, if that dont work, file complaint with ebay. good luck!

thats what im up to right now... writing a polite letter stating your stuff blows give me my f**king money back ! im sure he knows what he sold, so i would hope there wouldnt be any dispute over the fact his item was garbage... man am i gonna be pissed if this has to go through ebay's decision process... because im not in the mood to put my old arms back on !

For future reference: Use paypal but pay with a credit card, if something happens call up and stop payment or dispute the charge.

i bought something from someone on a forum once, paid via paypal. didnt recieve it, and didnt reply to several emails, i files complaint thru paypal saying item not recieved. it imidately charged his account the full purchase price..turned out to be a problem at the post office with the address..

so yes, USE paypal...

update,
well i emailed the guy told him the issue and he claimed that they were ok when they went in the box to be shipped and that the bent tie rods were just thrown in because he had no use for them. To me thats basically admitting that he knew the tie rods were bent and didnt say anything in the ebay add.basically FU im not giving you anything.... So i filled with ebay using that bepp form and i should have a response in 24 -48 hours who knows....now i have a couple hundred dollars in A arms that i cant use! E bay dont let me down!
I did pay with paypall through my credit card so im sure some where along the line ill get my money back but how long!

those tierods probably got bent the same time the a-arms did too lol... i would try getting onto your paypal account and see if you can file a claim with them also, like i said paypal dont mess around, if they debt his account, im sure he will be glad to have those a-arms back lol...

so no word from eBay yet, so i figured id work on getting my money back. i filled a dispute with the seller through PayPal and immediately escalated it to a claim..so i checked my email this morning and the seller has already emailed PayPal back with an explanation....i think pay pall will sort this out quickly....

So the updated status is pay pal has ordered me to send the arms back to the douche that sold them to me so he can list them again on ebay and burn some other unsuspecting rider...So as soon as i give them the tracking number of my package paypal will issue me a refund...Thank you for not being stupid paypal!

glad to hear everything worked out ok.... i try to buy everything from forum members (for used truck and atv parts) or reputable sellers on ebay... i check feedback before i buy form someone new, and i try to keep buying from the same sellers. i know that isnt always possible when buying used parts but its something to keep in mind. but its good to know that if something like this does happen that ebay/paypal will stand behind you and go about things fast too..

Before you ever send them back, take pictures of the A arms, show the damage, also a picture of the box they are going back in.. That was they know how they are.. I hate POS's like that.. He must have knew they were trashed if he is taking them back... GL

very good idea... he may try to pull the "you didnt send everything back" thing. make sure you get Deliver Confirmation if using USPS or require a signiture if you use ups/fedex... he might try to pull something shady again

yes DEFFINATLY do that. I bought a used cylinder and JE piston off ebay. when I got it the cylinder sleeve was loose in the cylinder and pushed out about a quarter inch. I was so pissed and told him I wanted a refund and he said just send it back and he would refund my money when he got the cylinder and piston. I mailed it back through the post office but didnt get any kind of tracking number or delivery confirmation cause i wanted to do it as cheap as possible. over 3 weeks went by and I never got my money back after emailing the guy like every other day when he should have got it in the mail, so I just left him a negative feed back. the crook got my money and his crap back and I lost about 120$. I did ruin his feedback rating though :devil:

Good call on the taking pictures of the boxes content and the box.... il be sure to do that before i fire it off today. as far as him knowing his arms were bad when he sold them, hell yeah he knew but i think it turned out that pay pal forced him to pay me back. there was nothing voluntary about it. i was also thinking about hitting up the local porn shop today and buying a bunch of gay porn mags ripping out the pages and stuffing the box with them instead of news paper and bubble wrap. (thoughts) haha,That would be a nice response to his rude email he sent me through ebay expressing his opinion of what all sales are final means..well yes all sales are final, when something is listed appropriately describing the items in such a fashion to list all defects! If not theirs that little thing called buyer protection.
bad feedback will surely be issued after i receive my refund!

So who has a set of +2 arms they want to part with for 300...haha

Yeah those are them. Can't really tell in the pics but there's almost a 1/4 inch bend in one of the uppers

Are they useable? How bad are they? Ball joints and tie rods good? Its hard to tell how bad the bend is.

upper left arm has a bend in it, (if you put a straight edge on the arm there prob almost a 1/4 bend)both tie rods have a bend in them where lock nut meets the ball joint. missing a sleeve in the bushings, ****ty black spray paint job over red. ball joints seemed ok... if you want to put a little work into them theyd be ok .. they were just advertised as in good condition before which is what i paid for and clearly didnt get.. low ball him if interested in a little fixer upper set.

I've got an old set of +2 JD Performance a-arms with stainless steel Lonestar rods. They have seen some wars an have some scars, balljoints are all good, tie rods good. The bushings are in fair condition an could use a new set but not too sloppy to run for awhile longer....send me a PM an email an I can send pics or more info if your interested.

so i mailed the arms back to this kid, and they were set for delivery yesterday (fri,and have to be signed for) and he has missed both drop offs! wtf ! the kid has them on ebay so he obviously wants them? pay pal should have emailed him the tracking info i gave them right? PISSED is what im gonna be if he ignores the package!
