I just put my headpipe on my 400 and the cylinder for the clutch is pretty close to the pipe, I was wondering if any one else has this setup and if they had any problems?

holy $hit, it looks like u got a problem there for sure. I wouldnt run that and let it get to hot. Your liable to blow that cylinder up.

yeah i would not run it like that, what you need to do is loosen up all of the bolts on the headpipe and silencer and see if you can pull up on it at all and see if it'll wiggle up, if not you'll need to try to bend it a little bit

Mine also was that close and neer had any problems, however make sure your line is not touch the exhaust it wont last to long, Colby put a steel braided line on mine and it was really nice. I would see what he thinks tho. By looking at your pic it appears that yours is touching the pipe, mine was just barly.

I have some fuel line heat tape for around car headers think that will help?

Its not touching but there is very little space between, Oh and the line goes nowhere close to the header. I would like to invest in a stainless hose some time though.

You should be fine then, if you ever want a project I would cut the nut of the bracket and trim the bracket down 2-3mm and weld the bolt back on. I believe its ok tho. Good luck. i believe steel line cost like 50-60, I think. Great investment.

Yeha deff don't run it like that. You are gonna wexperience some Problems. See if you can take the head pipe off and put it back on and tighten the bolts in a diff order to pull the headpipe up a little bit....

My slave cylinder hits my trinity pipe, just like your photo. I have run it that way for a full season with no problems at all.....just make sure your line is clear of any heat and you will be fine.
