What are some good kits? I'm thinking of a 15 to 20 HP shot. With the engine built it should handle the stress fine.

From my experience a tool steel wrist pin is a must. The kit I used was a wet system with jets from 12 to 22 horsepower. Of course we went right to the big ones . The fuel pump was a simple $25 carb one with a built in regulator.

If i had an extra 4100....i would have it lol with my set up i hope to be in the 45-50hp ill find out next week. I was thinking even a 10hp shot would help pull high gearing in a drag.

The thing about the nitrous is the power/torque down at the lower rpms will be crazy high giving the acceleration. this is also what breaks parts as the stresses are far beyond what a highly tuned engine would see at the same rpms.

What should a built lower end hold up too on a 400? Thats the million dollar question lol

well even with some of the huge bore high compression kits way back when it appears they held up well. but i'd research those and how they held up, then if your numberare close you should be set!

Nitrous express has the best kit at the best price $400ish bucks for a single cylinder complete atv nos kit.

A stroker or hotrods heavy duty type aftermarket crank is recomended if your gonna nos for drag racing.
