I was blowing head gaskets because my studs were pulling out of the cylinder so I thought I would take some pics of the rebuild.
The first pic is the bike torn down with the old 416 JE piston still installed.

This is my cylinder after being bored to 426, decked, and new oversized studs were installed.:)

Who put in the new studs? Who is doing all your Motor Work?

Here is the new Ross 426 installed, If your like me you get all excited with new upgrades! (note) If your considering a Ross
piston dont make the mistake I did, the arrow should point to the FRONT)

Next step, installing the head and cam. Be carefull with this part.

Here is my sidekick Felix installing the head cover. These bolts break easily, be carefull not to over tighten.

y did u put Never seize on your cam??? I jus talways coat it in motor oil. But whatever floats your boat.

Here it is complete warming up.:D 426 Ross 11.2-1 compresion, hot cams 2, porting, Lectron 38. I'll be hauling A** next week at Glamis after I break it in. ha ha
My buddies with banshee's wont be running away from me quite, as fast, and my friends with Z-400's can forget about it!!

It's not anti seize it is assembly lube.

I had the boring and decking done at a local bike shop (Mototech) The studs were installed by a machine shop and I did the rest myself.
