02 400ex carb help

A few months back i made a post about how my 400 will only stay running at about half throtle then after about 30 seconds or so of running will starve its self of fuel. I think I have gotten the problem down to 1. a cracked intake boot which I have on order and 2. there are 2 small lines coming off the left side of the carb that T off into 1 line, where does this line attach to? I see no nipples or anything for them to go. They appear to be vaccume lines but I am really not sure. Could someone please help me out with where this line could go?

they are just overflow lines or vent lines not sure which but they do not connect to anything important. but i think the proper placement for it is to go over the top of the carb to the right side and then u put the end faceing down into a little hole in the heat sheld. u might have a big loop on the one that allready goes over the top u feed it in there.
