hey guys found out my r has a reed spacer. the bike is all disessembled and i found it in a bag. this is how I have assembled it...is it correct? threw a pic of the atv in there too

also about to mount the motor, im not sure how the rear brackets go can anyone help? thanks! I am 16

No.Put it between cylinder and reed cage.

oh okay, thought it may have gone like that is my gaskets in right places dont want any air getting in, thanks so much -Brian

The spacer is intended to increase crank case volume, it should be before the reeds. Your frame looks like a 88-89 style, does not use the rear motor mount that detaches from the frame. The frame should have a rear upper mount welded in from the factory. It's hard to tell from your picture you posted. Snap a couple more of the foot peg and swingarm area.

Its a 88 or 89.

Gaskets are needed between touching metal surfaces, wipe a thin coat of oil on both sides of the gaskets before mating the surfaces. Remember to clean all surfaces before doing so.

Looks like its had some welding done in the footpeg area.

i never had this atv together...I have these mounts...I thought put 2 on motor mount holes and then the one on the chassis but it doesnt fit thanks for any help, personally i dont want those peg extensions but one side is welded on I have no choice right now lol

Those are not OEM mounts. With the way it looks, the rear, lower, front, and upper head stay, should be plenty of stability when bolted up.

do i need any mounts at all? i found some triangular like mounts that fit on the front 2 mounts perfectly thanks for the help
