Clutch Spring Question

So I'm thinking of buying new springs for my 400ex because when I get in higher rpms it won't engage. I saw in a previous thread somebody said that after they bought new springs it would engage. So I'm wondering how hard is it to install them? And will I need to buy a new clutch gasket? Thanks!

Very easy to install, yes you will need a gasket.

But if the clutch is slipping at higher rpms I doubt its your springs-either your cable needs adjustment or the clutch discs are bad (more than likely).
