What's the difference between these two carbs? Any advantages to using the crf carb?

Are you talking 06+ or 04-05?? There is a huge difference from the CRF carb compared to the 04-05's.. the Keihin FCR's off the CRF's are an exponential performance improvement.

The 06+ use a Keihin FCR as well..

the 06+ TRX carb and the CRF carb are basically the same thing, they are FCR's. The only difference between all the models that use FCR's which is about everything now is size, wiring/connectors, and jetting.

crf carb has hot start. and also is designed for 2 throttle cables for twist throttle. Other than that its the same as stock. I had one on my quad for a while. runs exactly the same as stock.
