06+ airbox on an 04 05

has anyone put an 06 and newer intake on an 04 05.

I have on my bike, but I have an airbox riser from zBroz racing holding it on instead of factory brackets. I also am running an FCR so that the boot fits the carb with no adapters.

I have a similar setup to fastredrider44. 06 airbox to fcr carb. I had to relocate two holes on the subframe by a slight amount.

x3 06 intake on fcr carb with 05 motor... i bought a aluminum airbox off of factory 45 they make them custom for ur machine for 100$$ works great with a lowered subframe
