First post on atvriders,

My connection to my slip on White Brothers exhaust has come loose.
I can see exhaust escaping from the connection. Metal seems clean, and use able.

I also notice some ticking after I ride it, could this be the back pressure from the exhaust being improperly connected?

I can see some left over sealant on there, I plan to clean it off and maybe use some liquid gasket?? or something better?, brand ?

I have purchased a stock exhaust off of craigslist. I plan on using the clamp off of that in hopes that along with some sealant and a firm re-attachment will fix my problem.

Thanks in advance.

Best thing to seal it with is copper high heat rtv silicone. You can buy it at any auto parts store for about 5 bucks. Put it on cold, let dry and fire it up. Then take your hand and put it over the exhaust and make sure no air can escape-air escapes you still got a leak.

Ticking could just be the heat of the engine, like a car does after being driven in high temperatures for awhile.
