yes cutting is required to get the hood to go on. you have to cut it like this..

I got mine from quad tech,,,,,,,,,,,and with the priority shipping it was 300:eek2:


and no not that much cutting is required,,,,,,,yes you have to cut the headlights off.........and a hole in the front for the air to get to the oil cooler,,,,,,,,,,but leave some plastic on the front and between where you cut out the lights and the hole for strength,,,,,,,,i will try to get a pic of how i cut mine in a while

no,,,,,,,,,,i just had my camera set on the wrong setting,,,,,it is stock red plastic...........

yes,,,,,,,,they were made by feathercarbon,,,,,i got them from oldnumber7 as a partial trade.........then and had them repaired and recleared so it still cost me $100.

does any one make a hood scoop that is plastic not carbon fiber? I really like them but cant afford a carbon one!!
