I took the transmission drain bolt out of my 09 Honda, and a piece of metal fell in the hole. I tried to put the bolt back in, and it would not go back in. I was able to move it with a screwdriver and get the bolt back in with no problem. Recently the gearshift was not springing back into position, but I took the right side crankcase cover off and nothing was wrong, put it back together and everything started to work again. I have all my gears and nothing seems to be wrong when riding so I'm not sure what the piece goes to. Any help on what it could be would be much appreciated.
