will lonestar 250r front hubs fit 400 ex spindles? next, is there any benefit to having a long travel front end without the long travel in the rear? if not, how can i make my rear suspension long travel. i have a lonestar frame and a laegers +1 swing arm and a standard link at the moment

The 88-89 style hubs are the exact same as 400EX, and 450R. Most aftermarket hubs were designed after the 88-89 style.

The rear end is pretty plush with a nice rear shock, better than any 400EX or 450R in my opinion. Just get your shocks setup for your application, and you won't be able to tell if it's LT or ST.

Good luck with your build, post some pics when you get your setup.

'89's spindles are tapered and cross compatible. '88's are close but not quite.

I believe you can simply take out the tapered spacer.
