I see about 4500 worth of parts without seeing plastic, with around 800 if plastics are real nice... that equals 5300 resale of used parts

but for selling price of a whole quad take around 1/4 of the price off what total parts are worth...making whole price around 4000 in today's market..

in my opinion not worth selling, you will loose to much. keep it and enjoy it, or part it .... put it away and wait till economy gets better

This is just my opinion and your situation or this quads situation may be different which could change the price but here goes.

Overall, it's not a big money quad. Fresh rebuilds with average parts, don't fetch anymore than raced out machines with great parts.

Things for it:

It's fresh and rebuilt.

Aftermarket frame

Hipers/GNCC's

Fasst bars

Things against it.

Stock cylinder

average shocks

Standard travel

Color scheme - looks good but not for everybody

Frame is older and footpegs could be difficult. Also standard front/standard link frame.

I honestly think you would sit on it for a while at $4000. You would need the right buyer. I saw one a month or more ago, go for $5000, but it had OEM plastic and much better shocks and a-arms and a more appealing color scheme. It also had a 350 powervalve motor and aftermarket radiator and some other parts.

Parting it out would be your best bet, but you will still lose money on the newer parts, cause who wants to pay new prices second hand?

Overall it's a nice quad, if you don't have to sell, it may not be worth the loss.

I really like that bike, you did an excellent job with it... Just the right amount of accents with the orange on the motor and shock springs, etc... I'd to see this bike finished. Going to make someone a nice woods bike.

Sharp looking quad! I'm with Troy, it's got just the right amount of accents, I too want to see this thing in finished form.

But I don't think the resale value is going to be as high as others have been saying. Aftermarket frames are always a plus, and you do indeed have plenty of high-end components. But the first two main issues that most people look at are your weakest points, engine and suspension. Simply because those two aspects are lackluster, I'm thinking $3500 max in today's market.

Now, if resale is your goal, it doesn't make any sense to spend $2k on shocks just to fetch another $800 in resale value.

The white OEM plastics are a definite plus, and they certainly add to the resale value. But I personally think it would look better with black fullbore. But don't get me wrong, I posted some negative things to give you honest feedback. But I really do like the look of this quad, there have only been about two or three quads I've ever liked enough that I would consider copying, this is one of them.

but if I was selling I wouldn't ask less then 4000 if it was me,

if I was buying it I would try to get it for a price of around 3200-3500, in this market,
but I didnt want to be to harsh on Will

Thanks for all the input guys, we know its missing some things that would increase its worth but like stated before its not worth spending $1000 to gain $500 in value. I think the goal here was to build a nice quad thats a little better than average and looks awesome to be able to sell and make someone a really nice 250r..
