Could i get the link to work with adjusting the stock rear stock until i can get it sent to GT Thunder to get it set up correctly? Thanks

i dont see why not, i mean i dont really know but i think all the link does is lower the quad, i dont no for sure though

The linkage not only changes the ride height, but it also changes the progression. If you want the rear end to work the best, you'll need to have the shock reworked.

it will work ok, you just wont get the full benefit until you have the shock revalved and resprung. When I asked laz about revalving my wife quad (120 lbs) he said just buy the link and set the ride height and it no need to revalve or spring.

it you weigh around 160 or 170lbs or more it will be really soft and you will bottom out pretty often with the linkage. Ive had the xc linkage on mine for over a year and still have the stock shock and it still works fine for me, I weigh about 145lbs. all Ive done is tighten down the preload to keep it from bottoming out so much.
