I have done a search on here and Google.
I have 2 quarts of royal purple can I use it in the ex? I see some people claim to use it but is there a royal purple for atv's that there using? The stuff I have is the same stuff I run in my car.. I have seen that some oils can make your clutch slip but how do you know what brand will or wont?

are you sure its the oil making your clutch slip? I havent heard of oil being the reason a clutch is slipping. Could be your clutch plates or fibers if their old. But i have always ran lucas and maxima, and never had any troble with a clutch.
You can run any atv/motorcycle oil in your quad as long as its the correct weight

Oil's to run in a Motorcycle/ATV has to say MA on the bottle somewhere, most oil's for Motocycle's and ATV say MA on it

if it has a 'Moly' compound (anit-friction additive) then you can't use it.

The anit-friction addiditve allows the clutch plates to slip against the fibers.

unless I'm wrong, I'm sure I'll hear about it if I am;)

If the oil bottle says energy conserving ....stay away, after about an hour i realized i put it in, and bought a new clutch set because of that.
