Gonna be doing it by myself...how does it work? Do you seat the bead like a normal tire then put the ring on or...........
PS: these are douglas.
last set I had were just outer locked, the inner was a regular rim.
I took the ring off, threw the tire on, put the right on and inflated, all was well.

So the ring sits over the actual lip of the tire?
Yea, what did you think held the tire to the wheel lol?

LOL i wasnt sure if it sat inside of a lip to seat the bead and the screws went on top of the tire over the inner lip.

haha well you can take the ring off and put the tire on and try to seat the bead if you want to but good luck :D . on a serious note pull the ring off put the tire on clamp the bead with the ring and seat them bad boys. Then your ready for the races.

make sure you have the right socket for bolting down the bead....its a weird one like a 12 point 8mm or something...

so i guess these that im getting are old school style. Im looking at the way they are made in a picture the seller sent me....and uhm, i think i might have trouble finding some mud plugs to fit these :D

are they douglas wheels with OMF beadlocks on them? thats what i have and i ended up with the DWT caps with the two inner flanges, had to shave them down some.
The open section was designed for anything non-atv related. Anything related to atv's needs to go in the proper section.
