At least the warrior is something I can fit comfortably on and has decent power for a 4 stroke. Im not a huge fan of them but they are built pretty well and tons of them around means easy to find parts.

I'm 6' 190lbs 26 years old. I just want something to trail ride until my raptor gets built. something that I can sell or part out afterwards. the blaster is newer and in better shape but I facebook creeped the guy and he has a picture of him riding it in water up to the fenders. the warrior is rusty but its bigger which i might need

I'd go with the warrior if you're going to be trail riding. I've always felt like I was riding on a powerwheels ATV when riding a blaster, just too small and wimpy.

Are you purposely staying with a Yamaha? You could find a better quad for the money than those 2 quads.

yeah I'm partial to yamaha and thats about as cheap as they get in canada.....everything else is 2-3 thousand....I've seen crappy 400ex's sell for about 2300 but thats the cheapest

If that is the case, I'd stay with the Warrior. The ground clearance on the blaster is pathetic.

Mix it up and get a dirtbike in the mean time. Then you could have the best of both worlds.....I wish I could have a dirtbike again, I miss them but I just can't stay off a 400ex lol. Get a 2 stroke bike if anything, lots of fun there

You can always negotiate the price down on the warrior. Have you ever ridden a blaster? They are fine for riding in open fields with no ruts/trails. It is a tiny machine, not meant for anyone that has meat on their bones.

I'd 2nd the dirt bike idea! I'd love to get another 250 to go play on.

I'm not really into dirtbikes...I have a 91 yz125 right now but is way in the back of the shop. I haven't ridden it in over 2 years. maybe I'll sell it and buy a nicer quad... but I know once my raptor is done I'm not going to ride anything else.... thats why i want a cheap quad for now

I'd put the extra 1,000 into the raptor

Blasters are too small. The warrior will be more reliable if you dont get one thats already beaten to death. My ole lady has a 97 I think and its all original. Never had the motor apart. Still runs good.

I have a good example of why a warrior would be better than a blaster:

A few years back I found an old suzuki quadsport 230 for cheap on craigslist. I said wth and bought it. For the year it was in ok shape, but even tho I was only about 6ft and 150lbs it felt way to small. I got a 400ex sometime later and holy hell I actually fit on the thing.

A blaster is nearly the same size if not smaller than those old suzuki 230's. If your 5ft 5in and weigh 120lbs its fine, if your not than find something larger.

Ive ridden both quite a bit. I would deff get the warrior over the blaster.

Blasters are fun but they are too small.. No reverse sucks too IMO.

Sell the 125 and hold out for a $1500 banshee or 400ex.
