Remove the wire between the starter solenoid and starter. Then hook wire from the starter solenoid to negative post on new battery. Then hook a wire from positive post on new battery to the starter and you're done.

will this effect the ecu or voltage regulator ? will the charging system still charge both battery?

No it doesn't effect the ECU or Voltage regulator. The way I told you will only send 24 volts to the starter and nothing else. You will have to put a seperate charger on the second battery when you're not using the bike.

24 volts is very common mod for XC racers, and poses no problems to the starter what-so-ever.

well I'm not so sure about that "poses no problems to the starter what-so-ever'' part .

i my self did ask a man that rebuilds starters for a living .he said great idea, that is if you want to replace the starter form putting to much voltage through it or take it to him and rebuild it from time to time.

If you were to send 24v to it over a long period of time, sure it would fry it. But with 24v, you are literally just tapping the button for the motor to fire. I've ran 24v on quite a few machines with no issues. Most everyone that runs an e-start Honda has this setup in GNCC.

yeah i presented that argument to the re builder to ,because like you say its just for a short time ,he felt its better to get heaver wires and a higher amp battery. with two battery's that would be easy to do and still be 12v

Absolutely. I've had others that had this exact problem and they start as soon as you touch the button
