Well i just wanted to say over the fourth my friend brought his 400 over and i must say its like night and day from a 300ex. His 400ex had (exhaust - stage 2 cam - Weisco Piston) and he bought it for only $1500 and its like the new body style 400 with reverse and all he had to do was put a clutch in it.

He raced a Twin Peaks 700 and he out ran him about ever time and believe me i rode both and they were F'n FAST
but i just wanted to tell ya

yeah im 15 and i bought my first quad from Shawnee Honda for $4,000 brand new last christmas and i love it, its is a perfect all around quad to get, but id say its more for XC riders than MX, for MX i'd get a 450R but the 400ex is still good for MX if you ride it right, the stock suspension is pretty soft for jumping but it has lots of power, but for people like me i want more, im all new to quads but after being on this site for a month now i think i know almost everything haha

my 400ex was lightly modded for about 9 years, it still beat my buddys built 300ex. But once i did my engine build i will never look back, a stoker engine done right builds so much power.

Wait until you ride a 450r, or any of the 450 really.

Comparable to the difference in a 300ex and 400ex
