450r swingarm on 400

Can anyone tell me if a 450 swing arm will fit a 400ex?

Yes, fits just fine. Carrier does stick out a bit since your using an EX not R carrier tho.

The 400ex carrier is wider than the 450r swinger and sticks out like an 1/8 inch from the swingarm, its not flush.

The 04-05 swingarm is the same length as the EX and pointless to run. The 06+ is 1.5 longer than an EX swingarm and what you should be after.

You will also need a longer chain. Buy one with 100 links and cut it to size, approx 96 links are needed depending on sprockets.

Also will need a 450r chain slider, 400ex wont work right.

Also the skid plate may work with soem grinding, but a 450R skid will work much better of course.
