Hey guys, I am looking for a nice slip on for an 03 400ex. Something cheap as possible and not stock. Pm me with what you have. Don't bother unless you have current pics.

Yeah i'd say HMF, Motoworks, Big Gun, 2 Brothers, and Yoshimura (more expensive)

The best bang for your buck would be HMF and Big Gun

HMF is what I was thinking for the money. Yoshi's are overpriced to what they do for sound and performance. Nice quality pipes but thats about it imo.

I will see what comes up. If you guys come across any links to something cheap shoot it my way. Thanks

Yeah I saw that Big Gun one on Ebay. I would get it but I have a big build going on with my kfx700 right now. I am looking for something cheap for the 400ex I just picked up. Gonna try and sell it.

If anyone has a stock slip on that they would let go cheap let me know. A stock one will work fine. Better than nothing at all.

If I were you, Id buy a cheap used slipon, polish it up, cut it in half, remove the packing and youll have a cheap "custom" shorty exhaust.

Thats what I did to mine and it not only looks better, it sound's alot cooler and also flow's better creating more power.

It didnt make it any louder either. "Mine anyway"

i've got a low hour stocker in my garage full system and a 06 450r pipe with hrc tip too. makes it pretty much the same as an aftermarket exhaust because of how the muffler is for that year. PM me if you want em, offerz

Gonna see what kind of aftermarket slip on I can find first. Wife wants an HMF on it like she had on her 300ex.

I just modded the head pipe and fitted a 300ex HMF on it. Sounds killer just like it was made for it. Looks good too. Don't need nothing now. I know it didn't hurt performance any. Her stock motor 400 beat a 440ex over the weekend. She beat it and I raced it and beat it good. So I know it runs good for a stock motor.
