I don't know if you guys heard about this or not but it's very sad that he passed this way.Happened at Redbud on Saturday. At least it was doing what he loved and fighting hard doing it! RIP Josh Lichtle.

holy crap.... That horrible, and a very harsh reminder, that especially in areas like phx (where 2 days ago it was 117 degrees outside) you need to watch out for warning signs.

crazy part is, he was the dude that tangled with RV in the first corner. he remounted his bike, had to kick it a bunch of times, reentered the race and i think he raced to the checkers. has heat stroke after coming off the track.. sad story for sure..

If you watch the first motos on fuel tv on the last lap where they follow villopoto he layed it over again in a turn. It shows villopoto going around the turn and you can see him laying there. I read that he got up from that and still finished the last lap.

No need for that. I know its a tragic loss but this is the only time it has happened at a AMA national. These guys know what shape they need to be in. There were people there not racing have spells like these.
