new guy with 400ex

[400eXz]

hey i just got a 400ex about 4 days ago and i love it. i had a blaster before this bike that was race ready and super fast. but i sold the blaster and i got this 400ex because i have always wanted one and this bike suprised me with all the torque that it had. the motor is bine stock never been touched. all it has a skid plate (not sure what kind) dg alloy series nerfs and acerbid hand guards. i am getting some new rear tires for it tuesday and possibly ordering a slip on hmf. i will post pics if you want me to

Congrats!!! Looks like its in great shape...don't forget to check the oil level, an perhaps give it a new oil change an filter. Thats usually the first thing I do when buying anything used. I bought my first 400EX, a 1999 11 yrs ago, great solid quad that I still own.

yep i checked the oil as soon as i got home with it. i might get a air filter after i get my slip on

Just wanted to say...better...I meant oil filter...doesn't hurt to check an clean the air filter if needed though!!!
